Speaking
Talks · Screenings · Workshops
Neil speaks to audiences about data-driven storytelling, and why communicating statistics with emotion is a craft worth honing as a society. He offers speaking and workshop engagements for fellow educators and communicators, as well as talks and panels for general audiences on why more impassioned and sophisticated representations of statistics are so important for human progress. He can also host screenings of his films, with or without an accompanying Q&A.
He has been invited to join panels and give talks by groups including the Nobel Institute, Gates Ventures, Comcast, and the Institute for Science and Policy, and has presented at universities and organizations around the world. Sessions can be tailored for general audiences, students, or specialist groups, and range from keynote talks to hands-on workshops.
